Launching into uncertainty
When Lorenzo and Cristina decided to turn their shared passion for entertainment into a business, they named it Amore Entertainment, drawing inspiration from their affectionate nickname for each other, “Amore,” which means “love” in Italian.
Little did they know that just two weeks after launching their business, the world would virtually shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We bought the equipment, took money out of savings, and went full force. Then, two weeks later, everything shut down,” recalled Lorenzo. “Three months later, I lost my job. That’s when I decided to get things on the road with Amore Entertainment.”
The early days were marked by uncertainty and a relentless pursuit of opportunities. Lorenzo and Cristina had to pivot quickly to adapt to the new normal.
“We had invested so much and the pandemic hit us hard. We had to think creatively and stay resilient.”

Starting with a single photo booth, the company has since expanded its inventory to include multiple photo booths, roamers and a wide array of entertainment options like flower walls, grass walls, live entertainment and DJ services.
“Our first event was two weeks before the pandemic hit. Now, we’re coming up on our fourth year, and we’ve grown in staff, services and reputation,” Lorenzo said. “We’re that one-stop shop for event planning, from photo booths to centerpieces and flower arches.”
Lorenzo’s commitment to innovation and customer service has been the driving force behind this growth.
“We’ve invested in new technology and expanded our services to meet the evolving needs of our clients. It’s been a rewarding journey,” he said.
